About the NT Community Legal Education Network

The NT Community Legal Education Network (NT CLE Network) is an alliance of over 30 government and community agencies with over 100 members.  These agencies work to help people in the NT to understand their legal rights and options. Members work in Alice Springs, Darwin, Katherine, Tennant Creek and remote areas.

Some are legal services or other public agencies that provide information about the law and rights to community members. Some are agencies that work with specific groups such as youth, remote communities, migrants, people experiencing domestic violence or people at risk of homelessness and who see how legal information and education is critical to wellbeing.

The NT CLE Network meets monthly on the first Friday of the month, holds an annual professional development workshop and undertakes collaborative projects to advance the cause of legal literacy in the NT.
